At CinemaCon, an event where films are announced or given new details, is where we got some massive news about Spider-Man! The release date was revealed for the upcoming Spider-Man Beyond the Spider-Verse, which is June 4, 2027! People have been waiting for this to be announced after months without info. A brief plot was also which was “Miles Morales as a fugitive and Gwen may or may not be enough to save him.” A pretty good, short plot which tells us about the vibe of the film. They also showed us some images of the movie which look sick! All that news sounds awesome and I can’t wait for the movie.
However, the jaw dropping news about Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4 (which made me jump up and down) was a video clip shown to the audience at the event, but only an image was shown to the internet. We got not only the official logo for the movie but the title as well. The official title for the film is Spider-Man: Brand New Day based on the comic! The logo also looks awesome and takes a different approach from the logos from the other movies.
There was also a rumour going around that chameleon will be in Spider-Man 4 which is great. Although Sony has the rights to Spider-Man, and technically they’ve already used him in the movie Kraven the Hunter (not a kids movie), Marvel is going to name him something different, even though he’s still essentially the chameleon. I really want it to be time for these Spider-Man movie releases, but we’ll have to be patient. More details will come naturally.
