A Minecraft Movie Is Heading To A Billion Dollars

Updated: May 10

Since A Minecraft Movie has released there has been so many dramas happening! Cops called, popcorn throwing, drink throwing, actual chickens being brought into the cinema! For some people, this is great, but for others and myself I think this is not okay. Fun yes, destruction no. Due to so many people going to watch it, it’s been estimated to crack a billion dollars soon! People are surprised but honestly, I knew it was coming. As soon as I saw the trailers for A Minecraft Movie, I told myself that even though people are hating on it, they’re still going to watch it. With all the memes like “I… am Steve!” or “Flint and Steel!” or “Chicken Jockey!” mayhem struck in theatres around the world.

I’m happy for the production if they crack a billion dollars, but the sum of it is that people go see it, cause destruction and then tell their friends, which causes a chain reaction! People are looking at these viral Tik Toks of popcorn buckets getting thrown at people’s heads and then teenagers especially (as per official news outlets, I’m not against teenagers) think it’s okay to do the same thing. I predict now A Minecraft Movie 2 is going to get the same thing.

If you want to watch this film, please be mindful of the audience and maybe a wild human zoo with food flying everywhere. Not all sessions have the same experience though and part of the fun of watching this film is the audience interaction. Get involved in yelling out the memes and have some fun, but cinema and human etiquette still applies!

About Kid Director

Photo of Kid Director with Director hat pulled over his face.

Hey there, movie buffs! I'm Kid Director, your mid-sized film fanatic who eats, sleeps, and breathes movies (and, you know, food and air—those are kinda crucial too). My love for movies started before I could even walk, and guess what? I'm still glued to the screen! I catch all the latest flicks and have been dishing out my own reviews for ages. My dream? To become a big-shot Director and snag a bunch of Oscars!

I noticed that while there are tons of review sites and YouTube channels, there aren't many made by kids, for kids. So, I thought, why not start one? Now, here we are! I'd love for you to join me in reviewing movies. Plus, it'll help your parents figure out what's worth watching and what's a total snooze-fest. Let's make movie magic together!
