The Bad Guys 2 is the sequel to the film The Bad Guys which is based on a book series written by Aaron Blabey. I loved reading The Bad Guys and back when I heard they were making an animated movie about it I was thrilled! After watching the original, enjoying it (having already loved the books), then hearing about the sequel...I was excited. Watching the trailers was epic and bringing in the bad girls sounded like a great idea! Now after watching it, I thought it was such an amazing sequel to the first!

The characters were still lovable and hilarious which gave the first movie the charm. The action and animation were great and gave the film a unique and cinematic feel. In the first half, I have to be honest, I didn’t think the bad girls were being portrayed well. But, as the movie went on, they ended up being a really good addition. It showed that they actually might be setting up a full-on franchise.

However, I didn’t like how the ending dragged on for ages. It felt like they had to make the movie 1hr 40mins, so they kept stretching out the final act longer and longer. Also, something happens in this movie which should be a big focus point. The plot builds up to it and when it hits there’s a couple of lines supporting it, but then it’s kind of never spoken about afterwards. It’s like it’s forgotten! I thought it was going to have a bigger impact on the overall movie, but it’s almost avoided to the point that it feels a bit waisted!

The Bad Guys 2 is a fun and enjoyable film to watch with the family even if you liked or didn’t like the first Bad Guys movie. Or if you just have read the books and want to see the adaption (that’s really what triggered me to watch the movies). If I hadn’t read the books, I probably would’ve watched it and enjoyed it, but I wouldn’t have had that same love as I had, having enjoyed the books first. Then again, you might be in for more of a surprise if you haven’t read the books. Also, there are two post credit scenes, one after the first batch of credits (which teases a potential The Bad Guys 3) and the second after the second batch of credits (which is more of a fun joke).

To become a big-shot Director and snag a bunch of Oscars!

I noticed that while there are tons of review sites and YouTube channels, there aren't many made by kids, for kids. So, I thought, why not start one? Now, here we are! I'd love for you to join me in reviewing movies. Plus, it'll help your parents figure out what's worth watching and what's a total snooze-fest. Let's make movie magic together!

I think it is so good and the space bits were super cool and funny.

I feel that the movie was very predictable and boring. If you have read the books, you could predict what would happen.
