Mission Impossible – The Final Reckoning is the eighth and last film in the franchise starring Tom Cruise. This film series is so popular you must watch at least one of the movies in your lifetime. Especially because Tom Cruise is the lead role and does some outstanding stunts! I saw the trailers for the film and I was so keen to see it, that I finally watched the previous movie, (Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One); I thought it was great. Now having the urge to watch Mission Impossible 8, I sat in an Xtremescreen cinema and I can say, not as good as Dead Reckoning but still a very entertaining movie.

My favourite things about this movie are first off, Tom Cruise. Oh my god! The crazy, hectic, bizarre stunts he does are literally one wrong move from risking death! This man actually did the impossible when filming this. The other actors did very well also. The plot was pretty good, but the action scenes were phenomenal! It was the first time I’ve ever legitimately had sweaty hands in the final act of a movie! They were crazy, so cool and very suspenseful, especially the ending battle and a water scene (without giving too much away). They were well thought out and just wow.

However, these are the perks, but the film just doesn’t compare to the previous. The first half of the movie was very slow and a bit boring. The runtime was also very long; a 3hr long movie! Just be cautious of that before you watch it. Those criticisms unfortunately made Dead Reckoning a tiny bit better. I think you’re going to really like Mission Impossible – The Final Reckoning, but if you’re a fan of the franchise you might be a little disappointed. Also, if you don’t like long runtimes, this film is probably not for you, or at least wait until you can watch it at home in stages. The movie should be praised for its extraordinary stunts and actions scenes.

Hey there, movie buffs! I'm Kid Director, your mid-sized film fanatic who eats, sleeps, and breathes movies (and, you know, food and air—those are kinda crucial too). My love for movies started before I could even walk, and guess what? I'm still glued to the screen! I catch all the latest flicks and have been dishing out my own reviews for ages. My dream? To become a big-shot Director and snag a bunch of Oscars!

I noticed that while there are tons of review sites and YouTube channels, there aren't many made by kids, for kids. So, I thought, why not start one? Now, here we are! I'd love for you to join me in reviewing movies. Plus, it'll help your parents figure out what's worth watching and what's a total snooze-fest. Let's make movie magic together!

Tom Cruise did a great job in the movie and it's sad that this is the last one
